weird thing happened on camping trip please help?

So my friends Kumar, Zack, and Jordan went on a camping trip and so when we got to the site, I found a cell phone sitting on the picnic table that had strange symbols all over it. The next day it was gone. That night we saw a strange light in the distance and suddenly realized that Zack was gone. We searched all over the camp area and found him confused and wet at the bottom of a cliff. After getting him, we found our campsite ransacked and I found that our food supplies were gone. The next morning Kumar ran into camp yelling that something bright green had wizzed over his head in the sky and he had been blown off his feet by the gale. That night we saw strange shapes moving around right outside the campfire's light. Then suddenly thunder flashed overhead and a guy appeared standing right in our campfire saying strange things. We ran like maniacs out of there and that's that.

I don't believe in aliens, ghosts, or other such stuff, but what happened here?
 
you just stumbled upon the movie set of "Zach and Kumar go camping" while they were filming
