Weird skin rash mom refuses to take me to the doctor?

Sometime last week I found a few itchy red bumps on my arms, they were too small to be mosquito bites, but I didn't think to much of them. Now I have them on my chest, back, legs, and a lot more on my arms except now they've turned into scabs and a few are turning into blisters. My mom refuses to take me to the doctor she says, "kids don't go to the doctors for every little thing." Well I haven't even seen a doctor in years not even for a physical. Anyway she's unemployed but my dad put me on insurance and shes says we'd probably have to pay $30. Anyway I don't think its chicken pox or the measles since it doesn't look anything like it. Any idea's?
I had a bad sore throat, but now it only hurts in the morning. It's not an allergic reaction, and no no one in my house is showing symptoms yet.
 
Do you feel well in yourself? Any chance you might have eaten something you reacted to, albeit slowly? New washing powder or bath products? Anyone else showing similar symptoms? I would personally take it to the doc - it might be something contagious.
 
Think it could possibly be poison ivy, or oak? If you're highly allergic to it like i am, you can get symptoms like that. I had it all over my body and they looked like actual burns and made me psychically sick. I eventually had to go to the doctor and take some strong steroid pills.
