I installed the sims 2 on my mom's computer after my laptop broke. It's a brand new computer, and i've been playing for a few months with no trouble. [I have Double Deluxe, Seasons, and Apartment Life]
Recently I downloaded some new hairstyles and a few skins. I played for a few weeks with no trouble, but the last time I went to play...I went to a particular family and the screen would randomly flash blue and then go back to my household. It did this twice and on the third time, it didn't change back, however i could still see the tool bar with Live, Buy, Build Mode. It froze and crashed. When I started it up again, the house from neighborhood mode was black and you could see the sims. I restarted the game again and when i clicked the same neighborhood it just kept loading and the entire screen was flickering, I tried it with another neighborhood, same thing. I know it's not the computer? What can I do? I really don't want to lose my progress.
Correction:
When I started it up again, the house from neighborhood VIEW was black and you COULDN'T see the sims.
