weird side effect of zopiclone?

This is going to sound like an incredibly weird question but since taking zopiclone I have had a real sense of not being able to understand reality - I feel like I am in a dream and none of this is happening. Zopiclone is a sleeping tablet and I was prescribed 12 a while ago when I was going through a stressful situation - I didn't have any weird side effects although I found that they did not always work. I took 9 of them in a row, each night. This was a couple of months ago and on Monday I had an exam and I had basically had no sleep for a while now so on Saturday night I checked as my tablets are 3.74mg whether it would be ok to take 2 online and it said that some people take tablets of 7.5g so I figured it would be fine and I took 2. It has been since then that I have had this odd feeling. My exam has passed now but I feel like I imagined even taking it and that I am still asleep. I don't know if it is maybe related to the stress of everything?? Anyway it is starting to worry me, especially because I feel my memory is odd for example my housemate asked me if I had put the heating on earlier and I could not work out if I had or if I had dreamt it...
