I used Ion Color Corrector from Sally Beauty Supply to remove unwanted dye from my hair. I followed the instructions and got to the part where you wash your hair repeatedly to remove all the dye. At this point my hair looked just like it's original color (as it's supposed to). The next step is to rinse hair with 10 volume peroxide, then condition. My hair turned darker again after the 10 volume rinse and conditioning (not as dark as before the whole process, but still darker than it was during the treatment)... what happened?
