This guy in one of my classes (I'm in college) and I really like each other. We've been friends all semester but he has had a girlfriend so obviously he wasn't available. They broke up about a week ago (she goes to a school 2 hours away and didn't want to go long distance anymore) and ever since then we have been hanging out and hooking up. He told me he wasn't ready to get back into another relationship just yet but would eventually. Today he told me he wanted to be in a relationship with me and of course I said yes. I've asked him a million times if he's ready to even start liking me and pursing another girl since him and his gf were together for a little over a year. I even asked him a few times when he asked me this morning and he said he wanted to, not that he felt like he had to and that this is what he wanted. Great, right? Well tonight we decided to have sex ad he was really hard but as soon as he took his pants off he wasnt and couldnt get hard again. He said that maybe he just wasnt ready but he still wanted to be in a relationship. Of course he was embarrassed but I understood. Then about 10 min after he left he called me and said that maybe we should stay away from each other for awhile. He said he didnt want to and wasnt going to see any other girl and he would still talk to me but said he just needed to be away from me for a bit. He said he has to do this if he wants this to work. I do understand but I'm pissed because this was the exact situation I was trying to avoid.... like I said I kept asking him if he was ready and if this was okay with him and he constantly said yes. What do yall make of this situation? How should I feel and what should I do? Sorry this was so long... thanks in advance for the answers
