Find sin b if terminal side of b in standard position is (0,-6).
Where do I start off? I graphed it, but am confused.

sin(b) indicates that b is an angle
angles do not have "terminal sides"
nor have I in my 45+ years EVER heard of a terminal side used in describing a triangle (but there's always a first time..)
and for that matter, wtf is "standard position"? - never heard of that either.
Perhaps you are writing about arcs of a circle rather than triangles?
Who knows.
