is it ment to take this long for them to start again.
plz help

normally the first period takes a while once you stop for the next period to come again--normally it can be anywhere from a few months to a year, it's normal. Happened to me. I started around '04 my first period going to the local swimming pool in Oregon when I was on vacation. Bleh, then I didn't start again until close to 5mo. later.

There are a lot of things that can effect your period.

1. You don't have a regular schedule yet
2. if you are under weight you can stop having periods
3. stress can reduce your periods

you should probably go talk to a doctor just to make sure that there isn't a problem!

It sounds like since you started you periods recently, your body could just be adjusting to the hormonal change. The year i first started my period, i went 4 months without any bleeding. I went to a doctor and she just told me my body was getting used to all the new hormones in my body and it's normal for girls who just start their period to skip a few months. Don't worry, it'll come again. But if you're still concerned, go see a doctor.
