Weird off&on sharp pains chest area.?

I've been having these really bad off and on pains, right in the center below the breast. Sometimes it shoots to the left or right. When i get them can't eat, sleep, or take deep breathes.. Though they only come and go, i've had it three days in a row. Now, im only sixteen but these pains get to the point i want to cry.. then they dissapear an hour or two later.. i have no idea whats wrong with me, &&i want the hospital to be my last resort.
 
I used to have pains like that when I was around your age. They were a mixture of heartburn/indigestion and stress.
Try writing down what you eat for a while, then mark down the times that you have the pains. If the two things (food and pains) seem to be linked in any way (heavy meal, fatty foods, spicy foods, etc), it is most likely heartburn/indigestion. If not, then it is most likely stress.
