I don't know if I'm posting in the right forum or even how quite to explain this. I'm having lower back pain. It starts right at hip level and goes down a few inches. The thing is that it doesn't feel like an injury, or strain or anything. It feels deeper. It feels very close to if not exactly how my lower back cramps during my period feel, though I don't get a period anymore because I'm on birth control suppression. I've had this problem for at least several months if not over a year. Could this be strain from lifting? I am a cashier at a busy retail chain and often lift cases of pop and water and large bags of pet food and cat litter. Could this be something completely different? I hate to give too much info, as I feel I already have, but, in case it makes a difference, the pain seems to be worse if I need a have a bowel movement. Sorry again for all the info, lol. I'm just really wondering about this. By the way, I also have a history of fibromyalgia, though this does not feel like that kind of pain.

Hi Karen, not sure what to tell ya, other then to see your doctor so you can get some relief. I just wanted to let you know that this board is a great place to get support and encouragement. Good luck with your back, I hope you get to feeling better soon.
