Weird leg sensations

I've had this before and it turned out to be nothing as it eventually went away. I never saw a Dr. for this. But a couple of hours ago I took a nap on my back and when I woke up I had this strange tingly-like sensation in my left leg from my knee to my foot, no pain, but just like waves of tingles (I don't quite know how to explain it). I have panic disorder and the more I focus on this the more it seems to be present. There is no numbness at all, nor pain. Nor do I have any numbness or tingles or pain anywhere else. Any idea what may be causing this? I feel great, except I keep concentrating on this due to my anxiety. Thanks, I really worry about strange things like this, even though I've had it before. I even took my BP and it is 124/74 with a 62 pulse rate. I'm probably over thinking this entire thing. Thank you so much for any replies.

You are having a nerve being compressed, that's all. It's causing the tingling sensation that you feel. It's due to how you laid during your nap. It putu pressure on that nerve and it got pressed down funny and now the blood is flowing back into it and you are getting the pins and needle effect.

Your nerves run down your spine and branch out in the lower back and run down each leg. If you compress them, you will get strange sensations in your legs and feet. I wouldn't worry too much about it. IF it starts to become a real regular thing, then you might want to get it checked, or if it causes you severe pain.....

Thanks, I saw the Dr. on call about this and she did all the in-office tests she could and it was nothing to be concerned about. She said many people get this and, in some people, it comes and goes. It is still here now, but I see my regular Dr. in two weeks and I'll go over it with him as well. She thinks it may be a piched nerve, which can happen and you not even know how.
