so i ahve a 98 expedition 5.4 4x4 so it has the bigger 9.75 inch axle. like a D60 but ford. and theres this wierd hose, if your looking from the back of the axle its on the left, of the axle. it broke off. if its not connected i notice my axle likes to jerk and grind, but when i tape it back on it dosent do it. what is it for exactly so i can trace down a new hose and put a new one on so i dont have to keep taping it back together.
this is the rear axle. and i dont have any locker of any kind. i have an open diff front and rear. thinking of a limited slip or detroit, but thats off topic.
