weird gray tissue with AF?

So i'm still on AF it's been a week now and no signs of stoping. Bad cramps and everything that goes along with her. Then last night two different times I had these gray skin tissue like things. Has anyone experienced this? what is it? I called my doctor and spoke to the nurse, but I'm waiting for them to call me back. ugh.. the waiting. Anyways, I'm confused this has never happened before. At first I thought that it was like toilet paper or a peice of the tampon but, and please don't think this gross. I touched it and it definitly wasn't. when I passed the second one there were a lot of pretty big clots that came out with it. I am waiting for the doctor to get back to me, but you know how they are. I am hoping soon. Sorry if that was TMI.
