So my 2 other friends and I WERE all best friends. Then, i started to drift in the center, and the other two drifted apart. One of them would get really emotional about things, ranging from different topics, and the other was sort of a happy go lucky sort of person. The happy go lucky girl (lets call her ashley) started to think our other friend who was emotional was annoying,(lets call her jenny) and stupid and Jenny thinks Ashley doesn't understand a thing about life, or doesn't think she can trust her with her secrets. So everytime i talk to ashley, she would complain about how jenny was annoying and how dumb she is, and jenny would mention how ashley's changed, but really, ashley just finds jenny boring, and jenny doesn't know shes saying these things behind her back.
To be honest, even if jenny had her flaws, she was really thoughtful and understand and there for me when i had to vent about problems, and i did the same for her. I could talk to her about things i can't really talk about with ashley. But i think she is boring sometimes, even though we have so much in common.
Ashley on the other hand, can't go a day without at least putting a smile on my face, even when i thought i couldn't smile. And once again, i can talk to her about some things i wouldn't be able to with jenny, like normal day to day topics, whereas jenny likes elaborating on the broader picture i guess...
So Basically, Jenny considers me her best friend, but so does Ashley...and i don't really know!
So now that school ended, jenny was saying how she noticed that Ashley and her were drifting away, and now I noticed she is trying to change that, because everytime she said she would call me, it turns out she is on the phone with Ashley, and afterwards ashley would call me and say how annoying it is when Jenny calls her to talk about useless things, and then on aim Jenny would say oh i havent talked to you in a while, and i just felt likee screaming at her by saying YEAH BECAUSE WHEN YOU SAID YOU WERE GOING TO CALL ME, INSTEAD YOU CALLED ASHLEY.
Is she trying to be best friends again with Ashley by calling her more than me and inviting her to things(we hung out a lot,now not so much...) because she knows no matter what, i'll still always be there?
Or is she starting to drift away from me too?
