Last night in the shower it felt like there as something in my eye, so I kept trying to rub it out but it wouldn't go away. So I ran some water over it and it felt better for a second but it still hasn't gone away. I googled it and some people say that the cornea might be scratched and to leave it alone overnight and it would be better. Well it's morning and I still feel it in my eye.
It feels like some kind of particle towards the upper part of my eyeball and I can feel it when I move my eyeball around or when I blink. Is there anything I can do besides going to an optometrist. I'm a big baby and I freak out when things get too close to my eyes. I really really can't handle a doctor poking around in my eyeball. What to do...?
