Weird 'Cingular' instant message on MSN while I was mobile?

Its really weird, I use at&t, not cingular. So when I signed onto msn with my mobile device, about 1-2 hours later I got a weird IM from "Cingular" saying I have insufficient funds in my phone, and that I would be disconnected from the server. I ignored it, but it did log me off. I logged back on and IMed about 3 friends, they didn't respond so I went back on the computer. I asked them if they received the messages, and they said no, so I don't know if its a virus, or what?
I don't think it would be a virus being that I don't use the internet on my phone, nor am I allowed to. All I do is text, call, and use AIM and MSN mobile. Help me please!!!

hate to bump an old question but i just started receiving this same thing after having my phone with at&t (gophone plan) for almost a year except i get it with the AOL IM. did anyone find out why? Or is there a problem with anyone else like this recently? Mine started 2 days ago and I do have sufficient funds. I have $60 and I'm on the $2 a day that i use it with unlimited talk, text and IM on days i use
