Weird car icon happening

Ok, so I look at my phone(I do it often cus its sexy) and see a car icon has replaced the headphone icon next to the bluetooth. Im using the same headset as I was before and for the past week Ive had the phone. Why is it now showing a car? When I go into connection profiles it shows me Im using a headset. What gives?
 
It's certainly a malfunction of some sort. The car icon should only appear when connected to a speakerphone of some sort. I use the Hf-6w loudspeaker and it's the only time a car icon will appear (or should appear for that matter) Which FW are you on? (*#0000#)
 
I totally didnt realize that you were telling me I had to push that sequence to get the firmware. I just spent 25 mins going through every icon trying to figure out phone "info". DoH!

Of course its not doing it anymore. Only at the time of the post. However, if it does do it again Ill snap a pic of it. I think Im just gonna go home and do the update and see how that does.

What happens if you get an SMS or call during an update?
 
lol...sorry, I should have made that clear I guess.

It goes off-line even though you have to keep a sim in it so a call or sms wont come through. Your safe.....as long as you dont touch the phone...or breathe on it for that matter.
 
the car icon is for handsfree profile (of course the headset icon is for headset profile)... when the car icon is up, it means your headset is being connected or is using the handsfree profile, dont be alarmed of this, your nokia phone uses both handsfree and headset profile...
