I began meditating again a few weeks ago. I've noticed that during meditations my right hand moves, especially the fingers and thumb. I'm not thinking about my hand or anything, I'm not even distracted. I'll have my palms turned up and flat, and before I know it, my right hand is closing and the fingers and thumb are touching. My left hand doesn't do this, and no other part of my body moves like this. I meditated regularly for a couple of years when I was younger, like until about 20 or so. This was about 6 years ago when I stopped doing it. Nothing like this happened then and I don't know what's causing it now.
Just so everyone knows, I don't believe in possession or that meditation, or anything else for that matter, is "evil." I know there's a perfectly good and rational explanation for why I'm experiencing this and if anyone can help me understand what it is, I appreciate the help.
And please, no "right hand" jokes. This is a genuine question.
