ok well i have this bump on the bottom of my foot.. it hurts on occasion but slightly. my mom says its nothing major but it has been there for months. now it looks like a big thick splinter in my foot but as I squeeze it, it hurts but nothinq comes out.. and as i squeeze, the bump opposes the way i squeeze it. for example, if i squeeze it from top and bottom, bump spreads from right to left.. any ideas on what this particular bump is? should i get it checked?

It is a plantar's wart.
Basically, the same kind of wart that one gets on their fingers.
Plantar's refers to the foot.
Most people see a podiatrist to have them removed as they can become painful.
They are contagious ~ meaning you picked it up from somewhere and can spread it to others.
The virus lives in warm, moist areas such as indoor pools, public restrooms, the gym, your bathtub. From now on wear shower shoes in all wet areas and clean your shower regularly.

You should have this one removed as it can "sprout" more.
