weird bruise on my foot?

I got stepped on really hard on accident about 4 weeks ago on the top of my right foot. it was all swollen and discolored for a while and hurt pretty bad. well it still has not gone away...its splochy light redish and is still slightly swollen. it does not hurt to move or walk on, just when i put shoes on and it presses down on it...so i wear sandals all the time. any idea why it has stayed? it really has not gotten any better the last couple weeks.
 
Goo see a doctor.
My only guess why it stayed was maybe you sprained,fractured or maybe even broken.
If you don't want to see a doctor then R.I.C.E. it a couple time a day.
R-rest
I-ice
C-compression
E-elevate

you may have broken one of those tiny little bones at the top of your foot..go to the doc and get it x-rayed.
