Weird baby movements..?

Totally normal. My daughter does that too, only on my right side. Sooo uncomfortable.

That pointy thing is just this elbows, knees, feet or hands.

So, I am 36 weeks pregnant, and I can't stand this one movement that my son does. It's ALWAYS on my left side, and it feels as though he is stabbing me. Whatever it is that he's pushing out is REALLY pointy, and it has a wide range of how much it hurts each time. I'm just curious as to if this is normal. I mean, I like feeling him move, but I do not like the fact that it feels like he's going to burst out of my side at any moment. I have an appointment in 2 days and will be asking my OB-gyn about it, but figured I would get some input now.

yes totally normal,my son kicked my rib a LOT and it hurt soo much he is now 10 weeks and my rib still hurts :S ouch!
