So right now I am injured for track because of my leg, so I dont run for practice, only in the meets. So I have been doing bike excercises as well as pool excercises instead of running, and I lift more...have been doing this for about 2 weeks, and have a big meet coming up this Monday.
I do the sprint relays in track as well as hurdles(300m), and wanted to know should my performance be the same as before when I was not injured?
Last night I did alot of lifting for legs and some for upper body, and a lot of sit ups...
Like lifting quads with heavier weights on, but less reps
Same for calfs
Since my meet is in 3 days should I do a heavy workout also tonight and rest saturday-sunday as well
