Are there any good weight training programs out there that dont use gym equipment like a bench for example just using a set of dumbells and a barbell in a home gym if so recommend one to me.

You don't need benches and dumbells and all that fancy stuff to excersise and lose weight. You can lose a few pounds every week with just a few simple exercises 1-2 times a day.

Depending on what you want to lose, I would recommend crunches, running, riding a bike, push-ups, sport (like football, netball, soccer, tennis, gymnastics, etc.), air bike. If you ask at a gym somewhere they might be able to tell you a few more excersises.
Just remember to warm-up and stretch first.

Good luck!

Great question, I am going to direct you to an article in EzineArticles that addresses your question. The article is based on having just a 110lb barbell set and no bench. This sounds like its right up your alley.

You can get a great workout with just a basic barbell and dumbbell set. Combine that with a couple of body weight movements like dips (done using the backs of 2 chairs), and one legged squats, you will get a massive pump on.

For the specifics of the exercise, check out the article, but basically it is an every other day routine. You work your whole body in one settings, doing 2 to 3 sets of 8 - 12 reps. It is a long article, so I won't reprint here.
