Weight loss tips and boosts?

I am trying to lose a little bit of weight so that I may live a healthier life and I want to ask this: Are there any boosters? It's not that I'm in a rush or desperate to lose weight, but it would be nice to see the pounds disappear in a shorter time. I ask because I have read a few tips such as drinking green tea helps raise metabolism and drinking colder water help burn more calories(slightly). Are there any other helpful tips?

I'm 5'4, 158 pounds and 17 years old. I've started out with my diet by eating healthier foods(veggies, chicken and fruits), exercising 4-6 days a week, taking vitamins and drinking about 3-4 glasses of green tea everyday. Also, is it possible to lose this much weight in 2 months? Any help is appreciated but If you plan to be bashful and input negative comments, please keep them to yourselves. Thank you.
