weight issues and walking funny?

Recently i have been gaining weight. I hate that i am but in winter time there isnt much i can do being 15, having no car, and being lazy. I have tried going to the gym, but 2 weeks into it my friend backed out and i had no one to go with so then i put it off. I am seriously depressing myself about my weight. I'm currently trying to eat healthy and drink less pop, etc. but i need to be active and find something i enjoy doing. When spring hits i'll be playing softball in 2 leagues and riding horses. I just want to have a bikini body like i used to.

Its frustrating to put on a shirt or jeans i wore 3 weeks ago to have them fitting tighter then usual.
Plus besides all that, i have a huge butt. The guys like it.. i dont. from what my friends have told me its because i walk weird? so on top of losing weight i have a weird walk which makes my butt stick out. So anyone caring enough to read these and give my pointers on how to lose weight and walk normal, thanks :)
