what do u think of weezer's new album make believe
i think its weak, i mean beverly hills? what a corny song did the state of california pay them to do that song? lol
we are all on drugs? sure its a catchy song and everyone is on drugs but these songs dont sound like weezer...what do you think
 
Rivers was always corny... and I think he has always feared what might happen to his musical career once the "ironic" luster wore off. I really think his music was always this mediocre... it just took a decade for that fact to catch up with him.
 
As a long time Weezer fan I can say that i do enjoy this album. I agree that the sound has changed and it isn't as good as there previous efforts, but it is still enjoyable and there are some good songs on there.
 
there's a couple of decent songs on there aside from the joke songs like beverly hills and we are all on drugs. overall the album isn't that good... weezer's been on a steady decline since the green album came out. but the way i see it, pinkerton and blue were so fucking good that i'll forgive them.
