I will add that here in the Heartland (Kansas) I can say that even when I've stopped on the side of the road for any reason, there has always been someone stop to make sure everything is OK. Bikers, cagers, truckers, have all stopped or slowed down to check on me.

+1 My wife and I ride together never ever let her out of my sight,if someone in hurry we let em pass as long as it's safe for us to do so.
