Help me please!!!!! My wife has had a debilitating headache at the base of her skull for over a week now; we have seen numerous doctors and even spent this past weekend in the hospital. She got released yesterday after they got a hold of her vomiting and dehydration. But the headache still persists, they have no answer. CT scans came back normal, spinal meningitis was a negative, and all blood work is good along with many other tests. Hi Brandon

I suffer from a persistent headache with nausea sometimes , burning sensation and heat at times in my head. But mine is a very dull kind of headache and it doesnt affect my daily activities. I get to manage with my headache.
But what you wife suffers seems to be more than mine or your migraine headache. You said she went through CT scans. For me a MRI angio was done in which one of the blood vessels is found to be narrow. But I dont know if is this is causing my headache. An MRI angio will show the blood flow in the blood vessels. So I wondered if a MRI angio or CT angio would help to find your wife's problem. A CT angio will show if there are any materials like cholestrol, fat or any substance is disrupting blood flow in the blood vessel.

Please check with your doctor for I am not a medical expert ...
