How do I word a wedding invitation where:
- Bride & groom are paying for over half the wedding & bride's parents are covering the rest; groom's parents are contributing nothing.
- We don't want it to sound like bride's parents are marrrying their daughter "to" groom, since we're paying, so the traditional (bride's parents invite you to daughter's wedding to groom) wording is out.
- Bride's parents want to be listed on invite.
- Groom wants his parents (& father is deceased) listed on the invitation.
And groom did not like wording of:
Together with her parents,
father and mother lastname
Bride first middle
and
Groom first middle
son of mom's FN and the late dad's FN LN
request the honor of your presence as they unite in marriage,
etc.
Desperately need your help!
