Hey Everyone,

Okay first of all I'm new here and I just wanted to say "What's up?" to everyone and second I have both "myJAL Apollo Edition" and "iDEN WebJAL", I'm currently using myJAL, can it really damage my phone? If so what does it do, I have no problem using WebJAL instead. Thanks in advance.

1st you must be online to use this software. If you are online and you are using XP as your operating system please do the following. Disconnect the usb from your computer. Go to start/control panel/ phones and modems/go to the modems tab at the top. You should see iden Motorola USB modem in this box with a status of not present. Connect your phone to the computer with this box open. The status should change to the COM port that it is assigned to. Then open the webjal software and go to preferences. Select the COM port that you saw when you connected the USB to your computer. If it is not there or you don't see the Motorola iden USB modem let me know and I can show you how to fix this.

To change the COM port for a modem
You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings might also prevent you from completing this procedure.
1. Open Phone and Modem Options in Control Panel.
2. On the Modems tab, click the modem you want to configure, and then click Properties.
3. On the Advanced tab, click Advanced Port Settings.
If this option is not displayed, the modem does not support changing the assigned COM port
4. In Com Port Number, click the port number you want to use.
