Web Upload Problem - Flickr Vs. VOX

K so I have an N73, with the config files for both Vox and Flickr loaded and ready to rock. I have my VOX blog in there right now, activated.

I've decided that VOX isn't really what I want for my photos. I miss Textamerica, but won't go back cause they screwed me and deleted all my pics without notifying me. So I'm going to Flickr.

So I went in and created a new profile on my phone under web upload for Flickr, named it "Flickr" and so on and so forth. It never showed up in the list. I then discovered that I have a special signin information for Flickr on my N73, so I did that, and it says I can't call the profile "Flickr" cause I already have one of those. So I called it Flickr - Photos, which it didn't like either, for some reason.

I've gone in there and done options - retrieve services, and I end up with my Vox blog (which I've deleted now, twice) and the Flickr setup and the Vox setup. No Flickr accounts show up.

Anyone else bothered with this stuff? I've used ShoZu in the past and loved it, but the recent versions did a number on my RAM, so I'm trying to steer clear of them. I'm probably going to update my firmware this weekend, so it may not really matter, but I thought I'd see fi anyone else has had similar problems.
 
Lol, here's another problem. Stupid Flickr is tied to my Yahoo! account, of which I have probably 10, like everyone else who grew up with the internet, but Flickr is tied to JUST THE ONE. So I've deleted all my Yahoo accounts, but they take 90 days to delete. I've deleted my Flickr account, and none of the usernames that i want are available (cause I had them all). So damnit I'm screwed.
 
well here's the deal, at least with the Flickr nonsense. Flickr tracks your account in 2 ways:

1. your email address (how it should be)
but
2. by your yahoo id. thus if you create 2 yahoo accounts with the same email address (or delete one, and then try to do flickr with a new one) Flickr will crap out and tell you you have to sign in with your old account info (even if it's since been deleted).

Top that off with the absence of a "help" link on the flickr front page without signing in, and you're downright annoyed.
 
i got it to work. you should delete everything you can in your accounts area on the phone. if you can't delete the last flickr one, just edit that one. or if you can delete them all, then by all means do so. to link your phone with flickr, you have to go to the flickr website and find the section that gives you the special "Nokia posting password"...
here, i found it under tools/lifeblog. http://www.flickr.com/tools/lifeblog/

use that password to post to flickr through the phone. oh, and make sure you set your picture sizes 'cuz i think the phone defaults to the smallest size, so unless you don't mind, then change it.

also, if you still have trouble with the yahoo accounts, i made a flickr account that was linked to my yahoo account, but then chose a different flickr alias. that worked and now i didn't have to change my yahoo account and still had the flickr alias i wanted. hope i helped a little.
