Web Pack, Vodafone, help please?

I'm looking to buy the iPhone 3gs and use my current Vodafone contract with that phone...

The plan is, 300 minutes and unlimited texts

If I was to buy the Internet Web Pack (£5.11) a month, would I be able to browse the internet on the iPhone WITHOUT connecting to a Wi-Fi hotspot?
