Web history removal - are sites like Paretologic free?

I scanned my computer with every box checked and it says I have 8200 items. Are all these items legit ? Are they harmful or risky to have in the depths of this machine? My computer is less than 8 months old. I have scanned, removed temp files and cookies, cleaned registry etc etc etc! How come there is so many "traceable" items and should I pay to remove them?
 
Don't believe anything you see using Paretologic. This company has a history of aggressive advertising and once had an Anti-Spyware program on the list of rogue programs. Use CCleaner to clean your Internet History or Glary utilities.

It's free, and unlike Paretologic products, free means free.

Paretologic crapware like Xoftspy and RegCure only *scan* for free...
then they claim to find about a bazillion infections (or registry errors) to scare you, and they don't remove them until you buy it.

There is nothing that any Paretologic product can do that you can't get better for free.

Stay away from Paretologic and anyone who recommends that crap.
 
you must be referring to the company that makes xoftspy out of canada. xoftspy detects a ton of stuff that it shouldn't and doesnt detect stuff that it should. no definitely do not pay to have them removed. there are plenty of free products that can do the job i agree with heebus on this one xoftspy is crapware.
