Web connection through GPRS onT5

I am trying to access the web on my T5 thro' a Nokia 6230. The GPRS connection on the phone works, and I can use tap-dialling in Contacts, so the hand held is speaking to the phone. However, I cannot set up the web browser to work thro' the GPRS on the phone. According to the Palm User Manual, when setting up the phone, you should get a screen asking if you want a GPRS conection, but I do not get this when running Phone Setup.

Anyone know how to get rounf this problem?

Yes, that is right. After you have set up the link to your phone, you need to press "Yes" when it asks if you want to continue and set up internet/data. It should then say "Do you subscribe to a high-speed data service" or something similar. This refers to GPRS, so press yes.

Hope that helps. If not get back to me. I've been doing the same kinda thing this week. It took a while but eventually I got it all working smoothly, with some help from the guys here :)

Thanks for advice. I got the problem solved. I think I was using the wrong phone driver, which worked only to an extent. I ran phone link updater, and everything ran smoothly after that
