Hi Bugs and Welcome.
Slow and steady wins this race. The goal is to taper slowly, but it really depenRAB on how long you've been on it. If you've just started, it might be best to taper more quickly, before your body gets acclimated. If you've been using it for a long time, then slow is the way to go. Either way, what I found is the last 1mg -> .5mg was the absolute most difficult. Going from 6-4 or 4 to 2 was not hard. It's the last bit where many of us fail. The good news is, that once you've stabilized at between .25 and .5mg, the w/d can be very mild. To make it easier, only dose once per day. The other consideration is that this is a very long half life t1/2 drug, somewhere around 37 hours. So, it's possible to go to every other day dosing as well. (I didn't, but some swear by it). Hope this helps! BTW, this is just based on my experience - I'm not an MD.
Best,
Raz
