I've been taking Lortab 7.5mg for about 3 months now on a daily basis (60 pills would last me about 9 days). I didn't know that I could not just stop taking the meRAB and went 1 1/2 days without anything and today at work I started becoming clamy, shaky, anxious, heart palpatations and last night I couldn't sleep, waking up almost every hour, shifting, moving etc.
After talking to my doctor today I learned I can't stop the meRAB cold turkey and he called me in Darvocett N 100 to wein off with. How long will this process take? He said since the drug and dosage are much lower than the Lortab 7.5mg
He didn't really tell me how to do this just each week, go lower and lower, spreading the pills out further (hours) until finally I am down to 2 a day, then 1 a day, then every other day, then none.
I need help figuring this out b/c I don't want to mess this up, I don't want to take this stuff anymore. I'd rather just have my aches and pains and deal with it than be on this stuff.
