Hi guys,

OK. This is a new one for me. Last night as I was walking I felt like my legs just give out on me. It was as if they felt like they would just collapse on me.

I have done earlier postings on my recent myleogram. Below are the results. Has anyone else had this problem and is it something that you can recover from or is this something permanant?

Please share with me if you can:(

Myleogram results;
On my Lurabar The main conlusion was;[/b]
Spinal stenosis at L2-3, L3-4, L4-5 and L5-S1.
at L5-S1; 5 mm broad based posterior disc bulge. This contours the right anterolateral thecal sac and descending right S1 nerve root. There is an additional 8-mm disc herniation at right posterior paracentral region that results in moderate narrowing of the right anticular recess and mild central canal stenosis. There is hypertrophy of the facet joints.
Overall there is moderate to severe bilateral neural forminal narrowing.

On my Cervical (neck) the conclusion was;
*Anterior cervical fusion at C4 to C7 with pseudarthrosis at C6-7.
*Severe disc dedgenerative change at C3-4 with retrolisthesis. There is a disc bulge and spur with central focality. There is moderate to severe central canal stenosis with mild flattening of the cord.
*Multilevel spur and ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament behind the fusion at C4 to C7. There is effacement of the thecal sac and spinal cord, most marked at C5-6.

murph,
Are those the results from an MRI? I posted on here a few days ago about my results from my MRI and someone replied by asking me if I had actually saw the MRI results. Is what you posted on the results?
Thanks.
Shannon

Forgot to tell you that I also have weakness in my legs. Mostly in my right leg. If I sit or lay for more than a half hour, my legs ache like crazy.
The results that my primary told me from my MRI was 3 bulging discs, 3 tears in seperate discs and nerve damage along with arthritis and scoliosis. Will I get a more in-depth report when I go see a surgeon or should I request to see the MRI results myself?

Yes, those are the results of my mylogram which is an mri with dye contrast.

I always ask for a copy of the results to keep for my file. That way if I need to see a new dr, I have the results already!

hey i am not sure the weekness will get better for me i dont know if it would. My legs get weak alot if i go to wal mart i feel so bad cause i can hardly walk and really lean on the buggy for support. One time we were burning something in the back yard and we were all walking back to the house and i was so weak in the legs my neice was helping me and when i got to the step i couldnt pick up my legs so i threw my water bottle and newspaper in and i crawled ot the nearest chair.

I have been puzzled about all this also and i dont know what it could be i was doing good until i found out the screws were broken but i had this weakness beforei knew anything so i dont know if that is what this is i plan on asking the doctor again but i have never been told anything.

I hope you find the answer to this and i hope things get better for you.
