Sounds like a lightening strike. You know how they tell us to pull all plugs during a lightening storm. I guess their right. Daughter lost her computer due to lightening strike.
Pull all plugs, stay away from water and don't us your phone. Know of a few people who got a lightening strike while talking on their phone. Don't know about cell phones. However I don't think I would take a chance on them either. Good Luck.
