...noticed an oil leak.? Car-Max is now telling us that it is an axel gasket leak. Since we have time to still return the car should we trust that it is fixed correctly or just return it. I know nothing about axel gaskets and just don't want this to be a continued problem. Thanks for any help you have!
 
hell no return the navi they suck all they will do it put seal it on it n leave it alone so when u cant return the car ull b having the same problem return it n get ur self a reliable forign caar ur looking in the suv.s get ur self a 04 4runner more reliable n better resale if u want to get ride of it later inlife n plus u get better mpg
 
You purchased the vehicle in good faith and the dealership is doing the same, repairing it to show good faith. If they had given you a problem in fixing the vehicle, then you might be justified in your concerns. They have a reputation to uphold and the replacement of a gasket is a small price to pay to maintain that reputation. If you were to walk away bad mouthing them for poor business practices, how long do you think they would stay in business, especially in today's times? My business thrives from word of mouth advertising, I must be doing something right because I am always busy
 
so if they willing to make repairs then let them do it not a big deal but next time look the car over better and learn how to check a used car type it into search box wil get a list to go by when buying used car will do you do forever
