...2nd POV? We have a new vehicle (still making payments on) that was recommended not to bring to our assignment. (We are shipping our other vehicle.) We would like for it to be stored, but storage will cost several thousand dollars. It seems to me that there has to be a way for us to be reimbursed for storage expenses when PCSing Oconus on and accompanied tour. Does anyone know if this is possible?
 
NOPE, ARMY WILL PAY FOR ONE OR THE OTHER. CAN'T HAVE BOTH. ITS IN THE JIPPSO BRIEF WHEN YOU GET YOUR LEVY PACKET
 
Uncle Sam will ship one, but pay for storage? Nope. That's why it's call a PRIVATELY Owned Vehicle. There are long term vehicle storage places that have some better rates than the regular storage companies. Check your phone book.
 
The military will not pay to store your vehicle. if you wish to store it, you pay for it. You are authorized to have ONE POV shipped. What you do with your second POV is on your own dime.
