iOS/Android: The turn-by-turn navigation app Waze has released an update today that adds a few more social features, including the ability to check the estimated time of arrival of friends, request a pick up from friends, and more.
The new features are great if you’re meeting a lot of people in one place, and everyone is using Waze. You can selectively share your location with friends at any time so they can see when you’ll arrive. Additionally, you can also request a pick up from someone and they’ll get your exact location. The update also adds a few minor features, including toll road indication, private messages, and a parking location pin.
