He isn't crazy, and I mainly hack him out alone.
If we are somewhere new, or new-ish he spooks at the hedge changing into eg: a small hedge, a gate, a fence etc.
He also spooks at a leaf waving about in the wind, dockleaves in the grass. And just random things?
He's a 16.2 standardbred. How he spooks is jumping and spinning round or shying largly!
What ground work can I do to get him better?
- when he does this, I get him to pass it and I talk to him constantly to reasure him. But I'd like to some how get him more confident with anything and everything.
- and I have almost got him walking through every puddle we pass (he is a complete hydophobe)
