I know people will find this funny, but the whole situation strikes me

I think Sheen's addiction and problems are not funny. The
combination of the captions and the pictures are what is funny.

Hear hear, Gloria! I feel sorry for his father, Martin Sheen, who is still
a very fine actor. To watch a son self-destruct must be terribly
heartbreaking.

Martin Sheen is a little bit crazynuts himself. When your kid is an
overpaid, middle-aged, drug and porn addict, you really don't have to take
the blame anymore.

Your statement is based on what?

Sounds like you don't have kids. You never stop being their parent.
Maybe Martin doesn't feel responsible for Charlie's antics, but that
doesn't mean it's any less horrible watching him self-destruct.

Martin Sheen did the very same thing in his younger years. It wasn't so
nearly publicized because now, everything is public.

He had his own melt down when he was that age. The difference is I

This is so true. I'm in my 50s and my parents are in their 80s. They
are still like that. My kids are in their 30s. I am still like that.
