Waves of stomach pain, nausea, hot flashes, chills.?

It lasted all day yesterday and then I got a migraine around 4 am. Just my period? It happens a few times a year but normally doesnt last over an hour.
and oddly, i feel better today after being too sick to get out of bed yesterday
my hormones are wacky so i take birth control for the hormones in them. i am on my week of "inactive" pills
 
I suppose it could be your period, but the symptoms sound a lot like the virus that's been going around the metro Detroit area lately. You may want to do the standard bed rest and plenty of fluids thing for a day or two...
