I don't know , maybe it's always had one but just never had the writers thought to include any swimming related stories.

I assumed it was a trip to the local public pool..

I was more worried about the fact a Spanish teacher (particularly a hungover one) was supervising the lesson - surely swimming lessons would be the responsibility of the PE department?
