My paper back book was in perfect condition until today! lol. Water spilt on the last 50 pages or so of my book. Blow dried them right after and now they're crinkled and wavy, wont go flat. Have it under some books right now but dont know if that will help. I heard ironing the pages works, is that true? Do people mean a hair straightener set on low?

If it's Twilight, The best method is to pour alcohol on it and light a match. It has to do with the fact that there is a powerful epoxy adhesive holding the cover on.

I have had this happen, the book will most likely take some damage but the best way to try and salvage it is to place papper towels between the damp pages and put a small amount of pressure on it. Good luck, hope it wasn't a 1st edition.
