I bought a couple of new plants a few days ago and noticed they had snails eggs on them. I pinched off a couple of leaves with the eggs on but today the cheeky little devils have hatched out from somewhere!
It's not a big fish tank so I really don't want it getting hugely overpopulated with snails, so I'm transferring them to another fishbowl, where I've got a couple of manky aquatic plants for them to eat. My question is- when they get big enough, can I release them into the pond? Or are they the wrong breed and will die in the cold?
