Water Pump Replacement - 1975 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron?

My husband is trying to replace the water pump on this vehicle. He got the old one off with no problem, but is having a difficult time putting the new one on.

He gets one bolt tightened, but then can't seem to get the other bolts to line up. Is there some kind of tensioner on there or something that he's missing??

Any info would be appreciated - or a link to where I can find this info.

Sounds like you have the wrong water pump. Either the auto store goofed (common) or your husband might think he's got a different engine than is actually in there.
