Okay, so I was teaching my son how to drive a stick shift car and he killed it pretty badly like the car jerked back and forth for a good 5 seconds. My husband was outside of the car and saw a bunch of water leak out from the engine. I don't know where it is leaking from, I drive a 2001 Mazda Protege. I touched and smelled the water that dripped and it is clear and there isn't really a smell. I'm pretty sure it's water.
What does this mean? And how much would it cost to fix it?
Also, how can I replace the water lost? The water was clear and it didn't feel oily. (I heard it could just be water collected from my A/C?)
