Water leak on floor in back seat Buick Regal?

Hi everyone,

I have a pretty significant water leak in my car only when it rains. We noticed the water was originally coming in from behind the glove box and pooling in the front seat, the back seat would also fill with water. We took the car to a mechanic who checked all the drains, and said they were not clogged, and they couldn't find the leak. Next we looked at the car ourselves and noticed the lining on the bottom of the windshield had pulled away, so we duck taped that area, and sure enough through of couple days of medium/light rain, the car was dry. Well we had a big rainstorm yesterday, and when I looked in the car, the front seat was completely dry, but the backseat was full.

Here's my question. What do we check for now? When I drive and put on the brakes there is a swishing water sound coming from under the car, like water is traveling underneath. The car also does not have a sunroof, and we checked the lining on the doors.

Any help would be great! we're going crazy!
Thanks!

i would next check the seal in all the doors and windows and the seal between the trunk and back window in could be getting in between the trunk rail and the trunk where water could be leaking in. If that doesn't work then check the drains in the floor boards to see if they are still closed.
